Why Small Group Training?
To take your training to the next level and achieve your health, fitness, physique and performance goals the vast majority of people will require expert input. This could come in the form of one-to-one personal training where you receive the undivided attention of your trainer who provides input on matters such as exercise selection, technique, intensity, programming and nutrition. Others prefer a class environment as they feel they work harder in a group and enjoy the social element, but the downside is that the instructor has very limited opportunity to give individual feedback when working with a large class.
Small Group Personal Training combines the benefits of both to provide you with a personalised progressive training programme, high levels of individual attention, and a fun and motivating atmosphere which is created when a group of people are working hard to achieve their goals.
The cost of Personal Training can also be prohibitive for many, and Small Group Personal Training is a more affordable proposition.
Who is it for?
We typically work with people in their 40s, 50s and 60s who want get fit and strong so they can live life to the full.
What will you be doing?
We work with groups of up to 5 people as we believe this maximises the amount of individual attention each person gets while still creating the desired atmosphere.
Although you’ll be training at the same time as other people, you’ll be following your own individual programme. All programmes are based on the same template, but with adjustments and exercise selections based on your specific goals and requirements.
Following a warm up which has been designed to address common mobility issues, you will progress to working on power and core exercises, then upper and lower body strength training, and finally some conditioning work.
I also programme workouts for days between Small Group Training sessions so you can do additional workouts if you choose, and your membership includes free access to the gym.
Your programme is updated every 4 weeks to keep challenging your body and ensure the workouts never get stale.
